Advance to 2003 and the Iqari WarThe terrorist attacks had stirred up Acirema and well it should. It was devastating to the people and it was a horrifictragedy. The politicians seemed to take advantage of the psychology in Aciremaand began their plot to engage a war in the Middle East. The Acireman people having been brain washed for so many years didn'tseem to see the difference between the countries nor the BAD Guys. They assumed that the leaders of Acirema worked in their bestinterest.War was waged first in Natsahgfa as that was the country theterrorists hailed from. The country was devastated and thousands ofinnocent people murdered in their homes. The military had been programmed by the evil doers and as such didnot hold the responsibiliy for these attrocities. They would learnlater in their lives that their deeds were planned and implemented ina fashion that they would never fully understand.Acirema was content for a while but not the leaders. They wantedmore blood and took full advantage of the Acireman hysteria. Moneywas the object but that wasn't what was presented to the Aciremanpeople. The Iqari people needed to be liberated fron their Evil Leader. TheAcirema government set out to do just that. What the Acireman peopledidn't know was that all of it was a ploy to take over the rich landof Iqar. Many lives were lost including Acireman military lives but thehorrible war didn't last long. It was a grand show for the Aciremangovernment. It showed the world who had the fittest military. Itshowed the world who had the most sophisticated weapons. The Acireman government flaunted their superiority on many levels. The Iqar history was virtually wiped out as looters and thievesburned and ravaged the cities. Museums were destroyed to such adegree that it was impossible to identify the buildings, much lessthe treasures that formerly had housed the pieces. The Iqari people were homeless and without food or water for manymany days. Cholera set in and began to kill the children. Thehospitals were already full as the war had maimed and dismemberedmany people. It was horrendous. The children suffered the most. Many of the bombs that were used layunexploded all over the land. The children were fascinated with thebrightly colored objects and that being the case, would pick up thebombs and be blown to death. Some of the others that were near lostarms and legs and were injured terribly from the explosions. It was a life of much sorrow and pain for the Iqari people. Itseemed never ending as the war was just a rehash of one thathad been fought on their land only nine years earlier. Thecountry and it's people had not recovered from the last war when thisone was forced on it.Princess Olivia cried daily as she read of the war. After all, hermain concern in life had always been her children. She saw thedevastation of the land of Iqari and she felt the pain as only amother can.One night she had cried herself to sleep and dreamed of her owncastle. It was the same castle, however it was very different in herdream. For one thing, it was blue and the structure was different. For another it had been turned into a hospital.Olivia could tell by the patients she saw in the dream that they wereIqari. She saw the art on the walls in the hallways and indeed thepictures were beautiful but definitely not ones she was familiarwith. She passed doctors and nurses in the hallways and she knewshe was going to be a part of this. She would look into making thisdream a reality. She would do it, no matter what. She had made upher mind and as such, she would surely achieve this task. It wouldbe her life. When the princess awoke, she was delirious with anticipation. Shecouldn't wait to begin work.First things first. She had to call Linus. She had to talk toRobert and she wasn't sure how to reach him.The phone was busy and she couldn't wait. The castle in the dream. She would think it over and begin work the next day.The renovation would be expensive but she wouldn't even consider thatnow. She was sure she would be able to get it done. The materialwas the only real issue. If worse came to worse, she was sure Robertcould get her robots to do the labor. She wondered how Robert would fit into the plan. She knew she wantedhim to do the phosthesis work. She was sure programming would beinvolved somehow. Robert was truly the only PERSON she trusted to dothe job correctly. Robert was the only humanoid she trustedimplicitly. She would do as much of the work as she possibly could on thehospital before getting Robert involved. She would make his job assimple as possible. If she could get the changes made without hisinput she would do it. She needed him more in the area ofrestructuing the children. The hospital would be her baby.Olivia started drawing up the blue prints for the hospital. Therooms needed the most work. The children had to be comfortable andsecure. After what those darling little people had been through, itwas imperative that their stay at the hospital be as positive andupbeat as possible.Olivia knew she had tons of toys, after all, she had been drawing andbuilding and sewing for many years. The theme for the hospital wouldbe Joy in Toyland. It would be her art and her toys and hercreations that filled the children's hearts and surrounded them whilethey visited the hospital.Olivia was adamant about that. After all Corporate Acirema hadbrought the children to her in the first place and all of the themeparks in Acirema and around the world were big business. HER workwasn't and never would be. NO ONE would take the SPIRIT out of herwork. It was from her heart and built for just such an occasion. It would be her gift to the children. Her's and Robert's. Afterall, Robert had been her partner in all of it. He had been herinspiration and he didn't even know it. But on occasion she was surehe sensed it.She started thinking of Robert and his comittment to their projects. She was so proud of him as a man. He was truly her friend andconfidant........ (and, her maker...... Olivia was unaware that shewas a robot and so she viewed Robert as her equal, her conterpart....not knowing that he had programmed her to be MOM and as such, full ofwomanly feelings and actions.)No, Olivia was not made from the rib of a man but she was made fromthe union of a man and woman. She was Robert's and Cal's ultimateachievment. She was sensitive and creative, loving and giving andstrong. She was the perfect woman, altho a robot.Olivia looked outside, it was dark. She had not talked to Robert andshe had not been aware that the day had already passed. She had herwork and she had held steadfast to it through out the day.She picked up the pages she had been working on and filed them in thedrawer. She would try and call Robert tomorrow.Olivia climbed the stairs to her room. She walked over and openedthe patio door ans stepped outside. The sky was lovely. She sat inher chair and she gazed at the moon..........to be continued.Cal
