Restraints and the Children

When I was working at META Services I had a 'peer' who was very young and had 3 kids from 3 different men.
.......... anyways, she was a gentle spirit and I simply adored her and wanted very much to help. She had been arrested at some point and was on parole. Supposedly, META was there to help. hmmmmmmmmm and that's where I came in. Little did I know that I was simply adding to her problems. She was under the care of at least 3, 4, 5, or six other contractors thru VO.
At one point, she had gone into Value Options and 'they' found her to be pregnant again and her case worker violated her parole for being pg. OMG, and he was Morman and he had 5 children of his own but he said she violated parole by becoming pregnant. (Hey, don't be too judgemental as I will show you that truth is sometimes stranger than fiction, k?)
Anyways, her kids were put into foster care (CPS) and she was put back in jail.......... any questions yet?
She had been in jail for quite a while and her mother was working w/Gov. Napolitano at this point trying to get her out so she could get her kids back. (You curious?) CPS sucks, eh? (Oh yeah, I was still in the state of Arizona at this time.)
I'll call the girl Jane as in Jane Doe. (I call her 'a girl' cause she was very young maybe 20, k?) .........and 3 kids, k? OMG!!!
Anyways Jane Doe got a very high fever in jail and had to be put in the hospital (now yaw'll remember, she's pg, all right?) She continues to get sicker and sicker and her temperature goes sky high.
The doctors can't figure out what's wrong but knows something is terribly wrong and decide they have to do surgery. (I don't know all the details but heard all of this thru the vine at META and VO.)
Remember Jane was incarcerated and now in the hospital.
To make a short story long, the birth of her last child was in the jail hospital and here's where things go awry............. (You ain't gonna believe this, k? Prepare yourself for a Steven King kind of thingy.)
It is discovered that part of the placenta from Jane's last pregnancy was left in her body and that Jane isn't pregnant after all but has an infection from the previous pregnancy. (I can't remember exactly but think her youngest is 10 months old.) Like I said, I can't remember exactly but know the baby was at least 6 months.
So, this young girl is put back in jail for being pg and come to find out, she isn't pregnant at all and her asshole caseworker judged her without any power except that he was her case worker. There's a lot more to this story but I need to rest for a bit and stop crying before I can share with you.
I remember at one point driving down the road away from Jane's place and calling my director and telling her I wanted off this case. I told her that all the other companies employees that were 'sposedly' helping were lined up outside Jane's door. Jane shared with me that she and I had the bestest relationship of all the ones she had but in all the chaos I couldn't see that I could help her at all in unscrambling her situation. (My director wouldn't let me off the case and we fought about it after I got back to the office but Meta wouldn't be paid if I chose to leave so I had to stay.)
I think I visited Jane once more and by then my director saw the futility of me staying and let me discharge Jane. OMG!!!! ........if you ever wonder why some people burn out in jobs like this, don't, cause it's dibilitating to the 'peer' too.
Oh yeah, one more thing......... after I was eventually fired from META, I couldn't collect unemployment. hmmmmmmmmmmm META SERVICES SUCKS!!! ..........AT the time, I thought I was SMI too and took it all on my own self that I was fired. (Did this add to my own mental illness, you betcha till I figured out I had no mental illness to begin with as when I went thru menopause discovered I wasn't bipolar.
In all the time I thought I had a mental illness and was on anti-depression meds not one of the shrinks ever did a blood test or workup. hmmmmmmm Maybe I had a hormone problem that was never discovered because it was never explored, eh?
THIS IS SIMPLY AN EXAMPLE OF 'THE SYSTEM' that our children and their children are exposed to daily.
I have a couple other stories but will share with you later if I can gain the strength to re-examine them.
