I love my daughter-in-law and my sons-in-laws very much and I encourage my daughters to try and keep their Italian heritage as much as possible.......... my girls dad never spoke Italian so that wasn't an option unless they take Italian....... and then because of the different dialects they may not be able to learn their father's language still. (He understood Italian as his Aunt and Nona spoke it all the time.)
Woody Harrelson Has an Awkward Moment on The View (VIDEO)
November 12, 2009 Hollyweird, Liberal Bed-Wetters, Military, Military Support & Patriotism, The View, Video Comments
Yesterday on The View, Woody Harrelson was on to discuss his latest movie called “The Messenger.” It’s about a soldier whose duty it is to make the death notifications to the families of the fallen. Now, Woody’s anti-war stance doesn’t go un-noticed on The View, but when Joy asked Woody about Afghanistan, Woody does something I’ve never seen anyone else do – leave her speechless.

In my book I named one of my characters Terrence Mason (Terry Mason? Sound familiar ...like Perry Mason????) Anyways I haven't read 'Children of the World' in a really long time and had forgotten many of the charecters names. Funny, cause I missed them all. Maybe it's time I start writing again, eh? Oh yeah and now there has been a return on 'All of My Children' of a woman name of Greenley......... and I have a character in my book name of Ryan Greenley. Coincidence? What is they say about coincidence? Nothing happens by coincidence, eh?
........oh yeah, BTW, until today I never realized maybe my 'Mason' name came from my father being a 'Mason'. (Connecting the dots.)
hmmmmmmmm, and another thing, unless the 'others' are reading mystuffs as well, there aren't many town's mentioned in the story but Hollister, CA is one of them and if I'm not mistaken the guy that went on attack at the Pentagon is from Hollister, CA. (please read the wikipedia excerpt about Holy Names???) What is it about today's EVILs that they have tried to take God out of schools and now this.)

The two officers suffered grazing wounds and were being treated in a hospital, said Richard Keevill, chief of Pentagon police. The shooter, identified as John Patrick Bedell, 36, of Hollister, Calif., died hours after being admitted to a hospital in critical condition, authorities said. They had no motive for the shooting.

History
The Mutsun Ohlone Indians were the first known inhabitants of the Hollister region.
The town, then located in Monterey County, was founded November 19, 1868 originally as the San Justo Homestead Association, established by William Welles Hollister (1818–1886), a group that originally intended to name it San Justo. An association member, Napa vintner Henry Hagen, objected. Hagen argued that place names in California were dominated by Spanish saint names, and suggested that the state should have a town named after someone less holy. The City was incorporated on August 29, 1872. The western portion of San Benito County, including Hollister, was separated from Monterey County in 1874. The county was expanded eastward in 1887 to include portions taken from Merced and Fresno Counties.
Oh, BTW, did I ever share w/you's guys that my first husband used to stomp grapes to make wine similar to Lucy in the following youtube? ....................and he played the accordian as well like his Papa. (He wore the boots when he went duck hunting too.)
Are all these things a 'lost art' .......... culturally???

See what a duck blind looks like.
here
Why is this blind a favorite of hunters. Because the hunters want to be in the right location, be hidden/fool the birds, have quick/easy set up, wait in comfort and have good visibility to know when to call the shot.
You can see the birds working the blind.

Great article. Reminds me of my childhood (1960s) attending Mass at Five Wounds Church on the feast of St. Anthony. The band at the time would play in a procession after mass following a statute of St. Anthony around the church yard. Then we would all go next door to the I. E. S. hall for a delicious beef stew with rich broth and slices of french bread. I believe it's called Shopas? After the meal the band played folk dances. Oh what is the name of that round dance? Shambarita?? I remember the fun just forgetting the de-tails. Does anyone have the recipe to make Shopas, help in D.C.? Thanks.

Chapter 35
Angel was in constant contact with her friends. The Children of the
World were genius with their connections.
The media called the group gatherings MOB meetings. This
Made it easier to manipulate the general public when and if it was necessary
to call grand attention to them. It was a psychological play on words that ‘if needed’
could be used to make the children appear to be trouble makers.
The children were well aware of this ploy. They worked diligently communicating
this to the people. It was imperative to keep communications open.
The children were aware, even if the adults weren’t that psychological mumble jumble was
what kept the world separate and they wouldn’t let it happen in their communiqués with one another.
Language barriers held problems for the kids but that still didn’t stop them from their tasks at hand.
Olivia, through the constant reading of the different bibles had clarified
several things to the children. Their beliefs were one and the same, their world
was at stake. They would unite in their beliefs. The Higher Power represents
Love/Peace/Charity and goodness, PERIOD.
On individual levels, they would be held accountable to their beliefs but
On their quest; their commonality, they would only be known for LOVE and
PEACE.
The boards that they frequented were often infiltrated by the others; the
‘UN PEACE’ people. Sometimes they were recognized right away and
Eliminated, sometimes they were just watchers. On
Other occasions they joined in and tried to make trouble. This was when
The children wished the Fish Wish. It may sound funny to you but it brought
Together in a unity unrecognized by anyone before. It alerted them that the time
For like minded individuals to unite spiritually had once again presented itself.
Now, so as not to keep you in the dark, the FISH WISH follows.
IF WISHES WERE FISHES
We wish for the fishes of the world to travel into all of the waters
of the earth; Every stream, creek, river, and
every ocean. Swim to the Fartherest places and go inland.
Go wherever a drop of water sits and wherever There is rain,
snow, mist, let there be little fishys spreading PEACE and
Love. The raindrops and snowflakes and hail will hold the love
of us as the Children Of the World.
What may not stand out in your mind is that when this is posted to the boards of the lurkers and UNPEACEFULS
they often times don’t take us seriously. This is goodness as they usually will retreat and go somewhere
they believe to be a true threat to their cause. It is one way that we can ‘pool’ our strengths and unite
in our CHILD. It is one way to alert the others that danger exists and we are doing our part to shield the
innocents and the LOVE/Peace people from harm’s way.
Angel’s address book consists of many names worldwide now. When her mother returns they will be able to
combine many of their skills and become stronger in their united goals.
Sara will be a great asset too as she will be meeting new and creative people in Scotland. This also
Applies to Terrance and Kendra. It will grow now in different parts of the world and their journeys will
Be enhanced by this new endeavor.
Once Sara and the family settle in, liby will introduce them to some of her friends on the net. It can only
Improve their chances for survival.

'Colbert': Stephen shaves Woody Harrelson's head
by Annie Barrett

Last night’s Colbert Report featured popular zombie-killer Woody Harrelson, who stars as casualty notification officer Tony in The Messengers. (The film opens in NYC and D.C. this weekend — EW’s Owen Gleiberman gives it a B+.) Colbert asked some tough questions (“What are you doing in a movie that supports our troops?…Should we keep portraying the dark side of war?”) and later got down to the real purpose of the segment, which was to shave Harrelson’s noggin. Marvel at the pair’s harmonious rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” — and Colbert’s intuition on just how fast to tenderly manipulate an electric razor to get the job done during the last bar — below.
